The DCH172 delivers optimised performance and runtime in a lightweight ultra compact body. The powerful brushless motor and XR® battery technology deliver 1.4 Joules of impact energy enabling drilling into solid concrete up to 16mm and ideally suited for the installation of plastic plugs and small diameter mechanical anchors, requiring drill diameters in the range of 4 to 10mm. POWERSTACK™ batteries deliver 50% more power* with a 25% smaller* footprint that works with all the 18V XR® tools you already have. *Regarding 50% more power: vs. DCB183 battery, not in application. Regarding 25% smaller pack and more compact: footprint vs. DCB183 battery.
